Empty bottles, rocks and broken pieces of pottery placed at the bottom of the pot to create aeration and drainage is a myth. It only raises the water table from the bottom of the pot to above the water bottles and rocks, the roots remain waterlogged unable to absorb nutrients and oxygen.

Debris also introduces bacteria into your soil.

We purposely angled the Root Warrior at 15 degrees to lessen soil compaction, to naturally air prune the roots and prevent waterlogged soil allowing excessive water to drain out and away from the roots.
